Robert Beall was a typical boy growing up on a humble farm named Whisperwood in Southern Maryland. One day in 1982 while working in the barn, the radio played a song by Ricky Skaggs called "You've got a lover". The lyrics of the song struck Robert with a new respect for Country music. While waiting to hear the song play again, he was introduced to Keith Whitley, Ronnie Milsap, Randy Travis and others. His music ear was forever changed and can be heard in his music today. Whisperwood is a collection of songs written over nearly 2 /12 decades. All have deep connection to Robert's life and only 2 are written from spontaneous inspiration. "Meeting Momma" and "Get Back" The rest are emotionally woven into his life somehow through life experience or the loss of something cherished. We hope you enjoy this record and look forward to many more
